Domi

Domi made his debut at Mefisto pub in Gdynia, 2002. Then, playing on Halloween party together with the whole 3-City underground crew, he discovered his ability to put people in a state of euphoria. Right after that he became a member, and since 2003, a “musical director” of Backu collective. Since then he’s been spinning at Metro club in Gdansk regularly, and the cooperation with Thandile agency has led him to appear few times in Warsaw’s Klatka, among others with Subsky.

In the beginning of 2004 Domi was chosen by the seaside club goers to be the best DJ of the Miller Music Tour semi-finals at Sfinks in Sopot. A month later he became the prizewinner at the final gig at Eskulap in Poznan, where he made a crowd of thousand people boiling. According to that he’s been given an opportunity to play together with Carl Cox in Katowice.

Year 2004 has seen him playing alongside with jocks like James Zabiela, Dirty Vegas, Filterheadz or Corvin Dalek. He’s started to appear quite often on strictly progressive parties, and this musical genre has become for him the inspiration, the way of life and the key aspect of underground. Thanks to ability of mixing hypnotic tribal sounds together with sophisticated driving progressive, he’s been offered a residency at Mandragora in Gdynia, where he’s been trying to create the dark showcase of the 3-City through his music.

Domi is also one of the SoundSiad Project founders. One of the project goals is to enliven dance music schemes, involving breakbeat elements enriched by live drums and MCs.
