The romantic rocker Ada is overlapping all kinds of styles and rocking the house with heart and mind. Consistently danceable she delights with melancholic profundity and weird art of sawing. The reason why Ada’s analog set-up is almost the smallest of Cologne? She doesn’t like software synthesizers, because they don’t have real buttons. Her music crosses oceans with loud volumes from New York to Toronto to Lissabon to Paris and especially renowned clubs like Click/ Hamburg, Maria/ Berlin, Studio 672/ Cologne which have all been raptured by her live-performance. Michaela made her debut in 2002 first only as a vocalist. In cooperation with Metope (aka Michael Schwanen) she made critically acclaimed “Liverdriver”. Only a few months later her first single “Blindhouse/ Luckycharm” was released. During the next two years there came another two (“Believer/ Arriba Ameba” and “Lovelace/ And More”) and in late 2004 an incredibly well received debut album “Blondie” came into light. There were lots of kind words referring to Ada everywhere (including the “New York Times”). Comments[0]
