Nathan Fake is just 20 years of age, and yes, that is his real name. He hails from that most unlikely hotbed of new musical talent, the deepest, darkest farmer country of Norfolk, UK. One year ago Nathan made the big break out of Hicksville, heading for the bright lights and big city of Reading (!) where he is currently studying for an HND in Music Production. His first track to be picked up is the mighty “Outhouse”, signed to James Holden’s Border Community, currently gaining support across the board from Fergie, Armin Van Buuren, John Digweed, Nick Warren, James Zabiela, and Hernan Cattaneo. James Holden himself is of course now a fully paid up member of the Nathan Fake fanclub. Also in the pipeline is a further track “Underberg” for Premier Sounds, and a remix of Perc’s “Closer” for the same label, both forthcoming later this year. Avus, cousin of Perc, also gets the remix treatment by Nathan for Border Community early next year. A young man at the beginning of his career, already showing a high level of accomplishment and attention to detail in his productions, these are exciting times for Mr. Nathan Fake. Comments[0]
