SLG

The Lodz based musician and producer Lukasz Seliga is the man behind the SLG alias. Because playing his music live is very important to him, he has never performed as a DJ and instead fully dedicated himself to perfecting his live act sets. At the moment, he is without a doubt one of the top minimal/ tech-house acts in Poland. His signature style can best be described as a combination of minimal techno with a funky groove and modern sound design. Moreover, SLG’s music is very energetic, catchy, deep but never trivial. His live performances are spontaneous and full of many unexpected twists and turns.

He made his vinyl debut in 2005 on Trenton Records with the “Split” EP, which was a collaboration between Lukasz and his good friends from Szczecin, 3 Channels. Not long after that, Dusseldorf based Level Records released “Quarter Past Eleven” which was SLG’s first solo release. The record received great reviews and some hailed it as a fresh and exciting interpretation of minimal house. What’s more, the record even managed to make its way into Groove Magazine’s prestigious Top 50. Seliga’s tracks are played by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Dominik Eulberg, Jeff Milligan, Koze, Jeff Samuel and Oliver Hacke on a regular basis.
