As a resident for Spundae, Jonathan Ojeda is among their elite family of world class DJ's. He has played along side Sasha, Tiesto, Hybrid, Moby, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, James Zabiela, Deep Dish, DJ Vibe, Paul Van Dyke, Sandra Collins…the list goes on. With his roots in music beginning at the early age of 8, Jonathan has developed a diverse compound of progressive house, trance, breaks, techno and anything he sees fit. During the day, he resides as a freelance A&R man for Spundae Recordings, is the Progressive reviewer for the US based BPM Culture Magazine and has recently been asked to assist in the development of a new digital download concept for FutureTrax, a west coast based digital distribution company launching in May of this year. His recent Spundae Reckords store of 5 years was widely recognized as "THE" store to shop at when in San Francisco. His most recent production work "Mindgaps" with studio partner Doug Eisengrein under their Suffix moniker received tremendous support. His other current collaborations under the artist names of Lojo and Cojac are all in the works and his recent mixes showcased on John Digweed’s KISS100 show and Proton Radio were all highly acclaimed world-wide. After heading a tour across America and Europe which included dates in the UK, Holland and Russia among others and with national radio and studio collaborations all spawning from a rigorous tour schedule, Jonathan's future is something to keep an eye on. Jonathan will be touring again worldwide in spring 2004 with dates already scheduled in the UK, Poland and Bulgaria among others. Comments[0]
