actually, it's little more complicated than that - it depends what genre your making. according to several top breakbeat, disco and dubstep labels, they now sell more on junodownload than they do on any other store.

Hundreds of releases, in fact, over the last 15 years or so. The trend has most definitely not already expired, chip music (music made on wheezy 8-bit computers) is bigger than ever, and this year's Blip Festival in New York looks set to be the best yet.

Check out 8bitpeoples.com for a successful netlabel which releases "electro made on Atari".
