SQ Klub, situated in Poznan's STARY BROWAR complex, is the venue for numerous artistic events, from exhibitions, concerts and private gatherings to club nights featuring well-known European and American artists.
The minimalist interior design of SQ Klub allows the décor to be changed to suit the theme of each event. Resident and guest designers and VJs incorporate the club's decorations, slides and projectors to conjure up exciting new looks for both the main room and the relaxing chillout area. At SQ Klub you can hear all types of electronic dance music as well as the sounds of original disco, soul and funk. DJ duos are often accompanied by musicians and vocalists and there are regular live dance acts on the bill.
The club residents, BASE, JUNIORE (Muzikanova / DabitemWucho) and HAGAL (Sound Revolt) attract a large crowd of loyal clubbers and are often invited to play in other clubs in Poland and abroad. The radio shows they host present cutting edge sounds and provide many listeners with exciting new musical experiences.
SQ Klub also puts on concerts performed by stars of the world of electronic music, both in the club and in less conventional venues such as the STARY BROWAR Atrium. Such events have so far included Matthew Herbert, as part of his European tour, Smolik and The Cinematic Orchestra.
