...continuation of the article Sound Revolt: But you’re djing, producing, managing record label and caring for a family. Is that all what you do? Are the days (and nights) long enough to fulfil all your activities? G.Pal: It is very hard to keep up with everything at my current state. I wake up early in the morning to play with my daughter and after I try to spend as much time as possible in the studio. If there is also a gig at night, my day can get really crazy! Sleeping is a luxury!
Sound Revolt: Most of the gigs you do together with your wife, Anna Maria. What is her style comparing to yours? I was told she’s a warm-up dj. G.Pal: Our styles are kind of similar, progressive tribal house. Anna Maria is also playing more tribal tech stuff. When we play together usually someone else does the warm up, but she can also play a great warm up set if she has to.
Sound Revolt: Will you teach your daughter to play piano? Would you like her to be a famous DJ and producer? G.Pal: Of course I want her to get a musical education because in this way she will become a better person. I truly believe that music helps a person to get a greater personality. What she will do with it is her own decision.
Sound Revolt: What I’ve seen on Crete is that people there go out at 1-2 am, and before that time all the clubs were almost empty. Do you observe the same situation in +Soda and the other clubs in Athens? G.Pal: Yes, we like doing everything later… eating, going out… going to work.
Sound Revolt: Would you like to say anything to you fans in Poland, maybe to prepare them for your gigs? G.Pal: You know that on 18th of September it also my birthday, and so I hope that we will celebrate this on its best way. I believe that we will have 2 great nights.
