Kiki is a well known persona thanks to his many releases on BPitch Control and last year’s ‘Boogy Bytes Vol 01’ compilation, which also happened to be release by the Berlin based imprint.
His latest EP kicks off with ‘Joko Tai’. Initially, the track takes the listener right in with its big bassline and very upfront beats. However, as the track progresses, things start to get worse because of the appearance of two bafflingly out of place and mundane instrumental backgrounds.
‘Gute Nacht’, which was supposedly inspired by Kiki’s performance in front of eight thousand Spaniards, is undoubtedly the better of the two. The track is a prime example of top notch energetic tech house. In a nutshell, perfect stuff for summertime parties.
