Philadelphia legend King Britt will perform this Saturday in New York to offer his fans a special preview of his forthcoming new artist album ‘Intricate Beauty’. There’s not much known about this release apart from what King’s willing to reveal himself.
“For my production fans, I am doing an interesting album called ‘Intricate Beauty’. This will be an all out dance record for the oh so sexy. Mostly instrumental, ‘Intricate Beauty’ will touch on the sensual side of dance music with a little more umph! Definitely influenced by Richie Hawtin's ‘DE9’, this album will be a collage of original bits and pieces and samples from my vast library to create a masterpiece of sonic bliss” – King Britt, January 2010.
King Britt began his career in 1990 on the now legendary house label Strictly Rhythm as E- Culture. He started Ovum Recordings with Josh Wink, produced platinum remixes for Macy Gray, Solange, Donna Lewis and hundreds of others. He’s also the owner of Five Six Media label.
King Britt’s ‘Intricate Beauty’ will be out on 9th April on Nervous Records.
