News added 14th April 2006 After a short break to restructure, Simple Records returns to full force as of May 2006. For the foreseeable future there will be a release a month from artists including Phonique, Mike Monday, Content (Jesse Rose), King Roc and label owner Will Saul. With the music policy focusing on deep and jacking house, techno and electro for the dancefloor, remixes from Jeff Samuel, John Tejada, Argy and Spiritcatcher in the coming months. As part of the restructure, Mike Place of Build (ex-Designers Republic) has created a new graphic identity for the label, and that of its new sister Aus Music. Global distribution for both labels has now moved to Word & Sound in Germany. Aus Music has been created by Will Saul to focus on the more experimental side of the dancefloor and home listening sounds - with dub, house, techno and electro releases to come. The core artists on the label will be Sideshow (Fink on Ninja Tune and formerly recording on Simple), MyMy (Playhouse/ Just) and Brun (Swayzak), with Will also embarking on a new project for Aus with Sideshow for the Autumn.
