Ladies & Gentlemen will be run by gentrified connoisseur Phonique, the smart and marvellous DJ & producer, who is known for his releases on Dessous, Mood, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Brique Roue & many other labels and who travels the world with his sophisticated musical mission. On the new label he will present his best discoveries from various destinations. Boris Fox is the first signing on Ladies & Gentlemen. Phonique came accross Boris‘ productions when he recently travelled Eastern Europe and finally tracked down the young talent in a Marina near Odessa where Boris is regularly throwing House-parties. The 'Dancefloor Dude EP' is a hypnotizing mixture of lindstrømy disco and modern minimal sound. The title-track leads to pure euphoria at the latest when that irresistable bassline comes in and these little melodies let the sparks spray. On the B-side 'Deeper Sense' is a bit more straight forward but not less elaborate, before the deeper groover 'Deeper Nonsense' spreads warmth. Pure hypnotic disco for modern dancefloors.
