We’ve got great news for all the diehard fans of quality, cutting edge electronic dance music out there: Audioriver will take over the beach in Plock for a third consecutive year! The 1st and 2nd of August of this year will see Poland become one of the hottest places to be on the international clubbing destination map.
The inaugural edition of the festival brought together a crowd of more than 20 thousand punters. Despite there being no admission fee to speak of, the organizors managed to book over 60 artists – 16 of which were internationals – to come and play for the always up for a good party Poles. Among the renowned artists who graced the picturesque beach with their presence and music were Goldie, Mathew Jonson, Desyn Masiello, Peace Division, Alexkid, Jori Hulkkonen and Gabriel Ananda.
Last year’s festival exceeded everone’s expectations. Fabio & Grooverider, Hybrid, X-Press 2, Spooky, Infusion, Oliver Huntemann, Matthew Dear’s Big Hands and Pascal FEOS all gave stunning performances... this time to around 40 thousand people!
In order to ensure that the event gets better in every way possible, the people behind Audioriver have decided to make the festival a ticketed affair. If tickets are purchased in the first few months of advanced sale, the fee will pretty much be symbolic. Even on the day of the event, the entry will still be much cheaper when compared to similar festivals. The proceeds from ticket sales will in the most part be devoted to booking the best possible acts and improving safety on the festival’s grounds. We are fully confident that all the people whose only interest is to have a good time at Audioriver will be happy with this development, say the organizers.
First names for the third edition will be announced in April. Stay tuned!
