Pulshar is a band formed by Pablo Bolivar, renowned electronic composer with an extensive discography, and Aphro Sainz, graphic designer, "loop digger" and ex-vocalist of the dub and reggae bands Better Collie and Loud and Lone. Both have been working in the studio for half a year to bring us the music from the deepest realms of their passionate minds.
'Brotherhood' is a collection of 10 outstanding tracks that combine Deep Soul and old classy Dub with some Space-Tech elements. Influenced by the sounds of artists like Scientist, Paul St Hilarie, Lee Perry, Al Green, Rhythm & Sound... Pulshar is modern Dub with a hidden touch of Detroit-tech and acknowledgement towards Basic Channel, Studio One, Maurizio, Burial Mix and Chain Reaction, as well as being clearly connected to the actual dubstep scene, lead by geniuses like Burial and Kode 9.
This is rich, electronic music allowing journey through time and space, where we find a parallel between the origin of the earth and an unpredictable future. Pulshar builds a bridge between these two opposites; as reflected in the visual artwork, taking us to the past to develop a futuristic sound. “Brotherhood” is an astonishing debut album, a superior score for different states of soul.
