News: Moshic Da Silva - Gibberish released!

News added 9th September 2003

Following Rui da Silva’s work with Chris Mellor, Kismet is delighted to release his long-awaited collaboration with Israel’s leading electronic producer, Mo Shic.

Rui met Mo Shic on recent DJing visits to London and Israel, and the pair settled down in the studio to create the first of hopefully many recordings together.

Mo Shic is respected globally as DJ and producer, and this combination has turned in one of Kismet’s most spectacular efforts to date. Titled "Gibberish", an esoteric language many of us turn to in our most bizarre states of mind, this dark voyage is a cinematic soundscape, continuing Rui’s path of uncoventional but always progressive productions - in the innovative rather than trend sense.

It’s made for film scoring, with drawn-out breaks featuring eastern chants and emotive sounds, and is a blueprint for a whole new style and sound coming from Portugal and Israel’s leading lights in musical innovation.

You can buy it online on Kismet
