  • Olympic ceremony producers K2006 have invited Richie Hawtin to collaborate with renowned Italian choreographer Enzo Cosimi on a key section of the XXth Olympics Winter Games Opening Ceremony taking place in Torino on February 10th. The new composition titled “9:20” was written and produced by Hawtin and will accompany Cosimi’s provocative choreography featuring famous Italian dancer Robert Bolle along with dozens of other dancers, performers and acrobats.

  • After several years of working as a record store, K-Records starts its own label under the same name. The Belgian company puts out its first vinyl between on March 1st containing I.B. “Live On The Main Stage”. The authors are Spanish: Sergio Miraglia and Miguel Muñoz and the remix was delivered by their fellow countryman – Loudeast.

  • Radio 1 listeners chose the Essential Mix of the year. In 2005 it’s Sasha and his two hours of music compiled and re-edited on Ableton Live in the Maida Vale studios. He managed to beat 10 Years in Ibiza, Deep Dish, King Unique and Tom Middleton among others.
