 Just like last year at about this time, Crosstown Rebels are about to release a vinyl sampler from their ‘Get Lost’ compilation. This time around, only two tracks, as opposed to four a year ago, are on the release, but this in no way means that this year’s edition is any worse. The A-side contains a tune from the man who compiled and mixed ‘Get Lost 2’, namely Jamie Jones. ‘Panama City’ is a seven and a half minute long relentless tech monster, which will undoubtedly devastate many a dance floor in the months to come. You’ll find a couple of minutes to catch your breath while listening to the Fritz brother’s ‘Pearls On a String’. Based on a simple yet very pleasant riff and a solid percussive layer, the track should work wonders in a warm up set.
