DJ Yellow - No More Enemie

By official press release:

DJ Yellow has been around for many years, most of us all know the story behind his past as Bob St Claire’s studio partner. It’s only a small part of his history and maybe the most interesting part of Alain Ho Tu Qui aka DJ Yellow is the fascinating part of telling stories through his music without any compromising. With “ No More Enemie” he ends a personal story that we know as “ Alienation” a sequence of songs all based on personal stories. Focus is honoured and pleased to introduce the last part of this book of songs as Yellow’s outstanding ideas about music have been inspirational for many labels and artists over the last years. With his next project called “ Intermission” he will travel new roads, showcasing once again that Yellow is a gifted producer that never fails to deliver.

“ No More Enemie” does justice to it’s title, as the original mix is all about the evolving melody that kicks in from the start and doesn’t disappear, chasing away all enemies from his past. It’s with this melody where DJ Yellow shows us what he does at his best. His trademark layering of sounds and melodies takes us through a breath taking journey that never bores at any time, a smart and well produced piece of timeless music that will appeal to a very wide range of DJ’s and featured as an exclusive on Dubfire’s “ Tapei” on GU. Essential stuff really….

Dubfire finishes the job for his friend Yellow. The man of the moment took the title seriously and decided that there was only one way to keep away Yellow’s enemies and that was by taking a twisted approach on the track. With “ Roadkill”, “ Ribcage “ and other beauties, Dubfire has gone back to his roots of essential clubmusic and showcasing his love for techy sounds and great arrangements. No More Enemie takes off where he stops with his other songs. This could easily be one of his deepest and darkest mixes, a no nonsense techno approach in a way that can only be done by him. Fierce and energetic from start to finish in a surprising way, a monster for any soundsystem, this is one hell of a remix!
