By label press release: Rhine river man Oliver Moldan is renowned for both his production and dj work in the world of progressive house. For many years now the German provides us with top quality music on labels such as Audio Therapy, Hope, Baroque and Electribe. Whether it be under his own name or as his alias Prawler Moldan just knows how to deliver to the crowd. This time it’s his club stormer “Vendetta” that’ll stir dancefloors all over the world. The track has been around for quite some time now, as John Digweed, Dave Seaman and Hernan Cattaneo already played it last year, but it’s now finally being made available to the great public on Groovecollection Black. The original version of “Vendetta” is nothing else than a true big room club banger. With subtle hints to Eric Prydz productions Oliver Moldan made a track with a perfect build that will definitely get the feet moving and the hands waving. The returning echoing synth stabs will catch your attention everytime throughout the track and the bassline is up there with the best. The build-up in the break is very steady and teasing with ever more layers of sounds until the beat kicks in again and you just know the club will explode! Eelke Kleijn is on remix duties this time and turns the banging original into a funk-filled, groovy stormer. With an artist album coming up on Global Underground later this year and the fact the world’s top jocks are fully supporting him, Eelke shows he’s without a doubt one to watch. With elements of live instruments, a great ear for detail and perfectly placed layers this dutchie proves once again that he can turn an already astonishing track into something special. Much housier than the original this remix makes sure the release offers two exceptional pieces of music on which the dj may decide which one will make the people go mad.
