DoC brings another fresh face to the techno world, in the form of Pablo Alcala-
Roman (aka Beaner).

Beaner has quickly been developing as both a producer and DJ in the deepest
and darkest clubs of Berlin, with his notorious 24 hour afterhour parties, “Im
Fruetau”, rapidly gaining in popularity.
Pablo’s unique and odd production shares both a love for detail and a die-hard
compassion for pushing the development of techno itself. It is also worth looking
out for his co-production with San Francisco based producer, Muffin, as War vs Sleep.

Opener ‘Villa San Bonobo’ is a deep and engaging techno cut, defined by
rattling percussion and intensified by a looming pad moan and avian tonal
flutterings.

A2 – ‘Return To Villa San Bonobo’ continues with the deep and unmelodic feel, with mechanised bouncing percussion enlivened by bubbling synth
reverberations and weird and wonderful tonal concoctions.

On the B-Side, Return To Villa San Bonobo (Aaron Hedges rmx) label boss Aaron combines Beaner’s quirky, anti-melodic sounds with a pumping straight forward rave sound. The remix patiently transforms the original with additional
percussion and acid synth sounds, designed for night and day play.
