We love to Get Fakt! That’s what we’ve been telling you and here you can Get Fakt some more as we deliver the second release from the re-launched label for Fakt fans. Get Fakt EP 02 sees A&R manager Tom Real deliver three new collaborations alongside new label act Off Key who deliver their first Fakt release with aplomb.

Following the devastating ‘Turbowolf’ on the last release, Tom again joins the Black Russian to deliver something far wonkier than before. Taking their lead from artists such as Switch, Herve and Sinden but delivering it with a slightly sinister edge ‘Back To Nothing’ is hi-tech wonk at its best. Already getting a BIG reaction from promo on both Fakt & Tom’s Myspace pages, we expect this one to strike deep at the heart of house music.

Tracks two and three see Tom Join Fake Hero the man responsible for engineering former Fakt mates Catz first massive anthem ‘Wide Awake’. ‘Closer’ is a heads down monster and ‘Hurricane’ a tougher edged beast that sucks the oxygen out the room.

Tom Real is better known for his breaks than his house but this is all set to change. If you’ve been lucky enough to see Tom DJ at clubs or festivals such as The End, Turnmills, Glastonbury and Glade you’ll know Tom’s set comprise mostly of four to the floor, bass heavy beats of a multitude of genres. Not wanting to let things sit still Tom believes in mixing it up and with his releases on Fakt Recordings expect an interesting and diverse selection of tracks from one of the leaders of the nu skool!

Finally bringing up the rear is new label act Off Key, a south coast duo who’s demos have been perking up our ears here at Fakt HQ so much so that we thought we’d get them involved with the re-launch. Their first release ‘Outside In’ is a hybrid progressive tech track with a killer rolling bass.
