 Official press release: When Daft Punk are the parents of Justice, then Moonbootica are even more the pioneers of german indie dance and surely the parents of Digitalism and Boys Noize. Moonbootica are koweSix and tobitob from Hamburg and certainly one of the most popular and constantly rocking dj- and producer-duos from Germany since the late 90s. After their debut lp from 2005 They just released their second album “Moonlight Welfare” with “Der Mond” as second single. This track hints at a bright and busy night ahead...none other than Jan Delay reveals that the moon is our sun: "Der Mond ist unsere Sonne". His inimitable delivery enhances the aura and fascination of the moon, wishing for a night that never ends. A fantastic piece of music which defies categorisation. Jagged, rugged, yet somehow weightless, like the sandstruck natural high of an all-nighter.
