Sentient Audio Collective has been running since 2002 but now Brahma and Company decided to set up a digital label. Here’s what their seventh release has to offer.
Philip Charles is no newbie to the music market and now he joins forces with a fellow Philadelfia-based DJ, Matt Kling, to create a deep and dark, progressive production hard to distinguish from many others alike. It sounds like old works of Thomas Penton and I can’t believe people still use these samples! Michael Lanning’s and Chris Conner’s remix is a better take on the same sound but you won’t hear anything new there as well.
Beside those accusations of being derivative, I’m sure that both tracks work really well on dancefloors. The best proof is that Tim Skinner and Hernan Cattaneo put them in their Kiss 100 mixes.
