3 Channels - Shi Shi EP

2006 has been an amazing year for Deeop and Ketiov aka 3 Channels. First introduced to the techno world in 2005 by the brilliant Trenton label, the pair then signed to Crosstown Rebels and started the year with the massive ‘Super Jurek EP’. There’s been no looking back since…

3 Channels are the leading stars of the underground electro/techno scene in Poland. They’ve been recording and DJing together since 2003 and via their club night Electronic House and radio show Plastelina, they’re fast becoming ones-to-watch throughout Europe.

The ‘Super Jurek EP’ received a lot of attention from the likes of Sven Vath, Craig Richards, Tiefschwarz, Danny Howells and Agoria. More releases and remixes have followed throughout the year and their massive productions for Trapez and Trenton are now established ‘essentials’ for many of the biggest names in clubland.

Crunchy electro and stark tech-house combine to make up the 3 Channels sound – it’s pure club music. ‘We Was There Tomorrow’ is a stripped down affair, based around a murmuring swinging noise that will have the whole club swaying from side to side. ‘Case Up’ shuffles along with real purpose, constantly building - this is a great tool in the right hands. ‘17hr DJ’ has a bit more of a spacey feel, but again it’s got a real shuffle to it, a vibe they capture so well, bleeps and tweaks are used to great effect making it almost impossible not to dance to. One for the sunrise!

Words: official press release.
