 By official press release: Essex bred Lee Jones lived in London until 2002, where he was producing and remixing as the downtempo/ nu-jazz artist Hefner. After following his heart to Berlin, he was inspired by the music and clubs to move into a new production style. For the past 3 years he has been recording and performing live as part of the successful Playhouse signed trio My My. 2006 saw them release a string of standout EPs, including the lush ‘Butterflies & Zebras’ on our own dear imprint, and their greatly acclaimed debut album ‘Songs for the Gentle’. Lee’s a bit of a work-o-holic; producing and remixing, assisting in the running of My My’s own label Just, promoting their monthly club night “… & friends” at Watergate and performing live each weekend - with a My My tour taking up the early months of 2007. For There Comes A Time Lee's blissed out chords drift effortlessly around a squelchy melody while chunky drums bounce in and out of the mix. The tension builds as the groove evolves more sublime melody is introduced into the arrangement that’ll have you reaching for those lasers. It’s one of those tracks that just ooze its own unique character… Futuristic deep house at its very best. On the flip side Prins Thomas gets to work. The master of the delay unit creates a build-up of feedback and meshes this into an ominously throbbing bassline that swells with intensity throughout the arrangement to create tension and impact. When combined with Lee's euphoric chords it creates real excitement. Ground breaking modern disco. Norwegian Prins Thomas is an underdog remix champ renowned for his disco styling. Label boss of Feedelity, where he releases with Lindstrom, his background was in rather bad band-projects and collecting records. As well as DJing, remixing and producing, he also plays semi-live with Lindstrom at lots of quality venues.
