Christian Cambas is another Greek, who successfully entered the global dance scene. And after Nicola Gala, he’s another Greek releasing for Intrinsic.
All the label catalogue items seem to combined by a few common features: they are hiting, rousing and full of surprises. Christian Cambas’ production is pretty much the same. However, unless in the musical part the track is marked by all attributes of a dance floor success, in the lyrics and vocal layers it paralyses with kitsch which could be even done by Cher.
Nathan Coles remix is a minimal, tech house interpretation based on short loops, click percussion and from time to time melodic bass. Musically it’s far away from the original, what unfortunately takes few points off. At least Coles has saved us from the vocals.
After very successful tracks from Tocharian and Nicola Gala, the time for Intrinsic’s bad shape has come. It’s a loss, but I wish them to be back on track very soon.
