And finally something from far-away Australia. Infusion, the best electronic trio in the world, starts his own label Polaroid Recordings. The aim is... “to provide (good) music for vinyl”, which only reflects their sense of humour. In front of me the first item from the catalogue: “Better World”.

“Better World” in its original version is the opening track for the band’s second album “Six Feet Above Yesterday”, released now through BMG. The Infusion remix is a bit more dance interpretation of the almost rock music styled original. The tracks is the effect of creative puzzling and looping musical fragments taken from the original and in principle can be called the bookish example of a remix. However there’s more solid techniques than ideas for a good music, which somewhat disagrees with itself.

Josh Wink’s remix on the flip sounds utterly different. Josh is my favourite author of acid sounds and this production only confirms his high skills. His remix first and foremost has the huge power, which is additionally stressed by subtle breakdowns. The real party monster!

This is not an item of progressive. However any label for Infusion is too tight, which is being constantly proved on every lane of electronic music. Their new record label will probably hold best pieces of genre unknown. Rubbing hands!
