The last reviews of releases by Swift and Christian Cambas weren’t too flattering. However, after hearing the first disc of “Flight EP” those slip-ups seem nothing but accidents at work.
“Flight 403” has been one of my favourites for the last two weeks and I’ve been consequently killing my neighbours with it. They probably can’t stand this rousing rhythm, samples creating depth and space, not mentioning those synths that tear your emotions apart. But it’s impossible to keep the rules of social life with such a monster!
Paul Rogers decided to tame this beast a bit. He rose the key of the synths and added his own misterious line, which together with new bass and bongos adapt the “Flight 403” to slightly different occasions.
If the Greeks are like me, and they leave the best things for the end, then I don’t know what note I’m gonna give the second disc of “The Flight EP”...
