David West does not come from the West but from frosty Sweden (I’ve just checked the weather there, it’s snowing). Not far in the past we were admiring the excellent “Pacifier” track, released by Inkfish and the man himself under Synergy alias. Time for a new dose of music.

New? To those who know a second CD from the latest “Way Out West” album, “Carrier” will sound familiar. A wonderful, lofty composition based on a heavy, breaky drums and a terribly good keyboard line. In addition, the thundering bassline sounds almost like its goal is to damage speakers. Fantastic thing!

“Envy” is nothing new as well, as Shiloh and Chris Salt (and probably many more) has played the track since August last year. This one doesn’t race so hard as “Carrier” does, but in the drums and the bassline one can recognize West’s hand immediately. A smart break tune of a highest rate.

Once there were times in Poland when lots of people were installing fancy electronic doorbells, which sounded almost exactly like the characteristic sample in “Envy”. I never liked it, but it’s not a reason to lower down the rate. A strong 6!
