Another release from Segment Records, which I’m supposed to be rating now, is coming from a young Argentinean Pablo Carra. Baunder goes here for his debut, however the first song has been produced together with Uruguayan Niocolas aka Logiztik Sounds, whose “On the Way” track was charted last year by Cattaneo.

The A side is a classical progressive construction based on a strong house beat and a simple melody of bass. The whole track is filled in by trance-kind keyboard samples and a threadbare effect imitating a satellite broadcast from the space.

The B side track has been done by Pablo himself. It’s a progressive breaks production, with an outstanding bass and drums section harmonizing. Nevertheless the track in its sound relates to somehow old patterns created last year by e.g. Chris Salt.

I have a feeling that the 12” is at least a few months late. Released last year would be quite original, now it sounds like just another one in this genre. Lets add, a good one.

Track List

  • Logiztik Sounds And Baunder - Big Bang
  • Baunder - Homesick
