Agent 001 - Mystic Disco / Jabba Jaw

Only few days ago I was reviewing a piece by Habersham and now I’m given the opportunity to write about a release from his and Numinous’ label. A very good release made by a duo which name is synonymous with good house music.

Steve Porter and Eli Wilkie - known for example for “Bubblebath” and “Faakson” – once more did not let me down. “Mystic Disco” is a floating tune with an adequate title and a slightly retro melody. “Jabba Jaw” is a more straight to the floor and happy production with a live bass to die for.

Both sides of this vinyl are short but pithy stories about quality house with a perfect dose of funk. Pure dancefloor shakers!
