 Two weeks after releasing “We Awoke”, SAC is back with remixes. To begin with I’ll tell you they didn’t beat the original. Jacob Todd’s lazy progressive breaks version is based on the prototype’s melody. The additional line adds some freshness to the whole but there’s probably to many humming effects after the breakdown. “Probably”, because they may work well on the dancefloor. Unless the dancefloor falls asleep that is. One of my former heroes – Madoka – did not reach the standards I new him from. His remix is a strong 4/4 with trancey synths and chopped up vocal. There’s a lot of energy but it sounds pale. Both productions are alright but they definitely lack the strength to drag me back to them after finishing this review.  Comments[0]
