 We have heard fruit of this collaboration before. A&R of Simple Records Will Saul released his “Clif” with a remix by Infusion in 2003. Is it as good this time? It definitely is not bad but I’m afraid that Will takes the word “simple” to literally, because “Mbira” is too simple for a 10 minute track. Gently humming bassline struts unhurried among sparse amount of samples, synths and... action. The original was made for home listening so Infusion took “Mbira” to the dancefloors. The trio electrified the bassline, added some childish synths giving the whole a disco feel. Nice. ”Mbira” is the first single to promote Will’s artist album “Space Between” due for release in July.
