Did the Uruguayan football player release a song about pirates? Montero are Graeme Laverty and Café Mambo’s resident Dee McAuley, who come back after a year to Renaissance with a follow-up to their well-known “Brazilia EP”. Both versions of “Captain Hook” are house productions with a catchy synthline on three notes. The original is dark and subtly tribal, while the House Mix is a pure bomb that many of you should know from James Zabiela’s “Utilities” album. The only thing that bothers me in “Captain Hook” is probably its biggest strength. Nevertheless the riff and the whole piece are slightly to simple. Comments[0]
