It’s a wonder that such a prolific artist like Noel Sanger appears on Sound Revolt only now. Within the space of 11 years Noel has managed to release 6 compilations and a few dozen of original productions and remixes – such an output places him in one row with the best. The newest production from the American is at the same time a debut of Angora label.
The debut by all means successful, as progressive and slightly nostalgic “Forget”, enriched by Dauby’s warm vocals, has found its place in record collections of Digweed and Cattaneo. There’s nothing unusual in the track - it falls into the memory though, probably due to this charming vocal.
But Yunus, our good old friend, has revealed his wild nature, making a remix as if to prove that he is still able to sound fresh, in opposite to his latest work on Bedrock. His version – a maze of snares, keyboard arpeggios and lively melodic bass – rushes forward additionally powered by excellent drums and ingeniously modulated vocals. Brilliant arrangements, perfect sound!
