Let the world crumble and burn in hell, ‘cause something extraordinary has just happened – I came to like a house track with vocals a la Craig David. Don’t think it’s due to an unprecedented change of taste. Don’t worry, I’m still an enemy of howling males. However the track is different from what we can usualy hear on MTv. Actually it’s different from anything I’ve ever heard. I’m talking about the Original Mix, which initially annoyed me and yet after few listens I got friendly with the vocals and fell in love with the tune.

What’s here to love you ask me? Take a closer look at the arrangement. The piano, bass, sax, vocals, beat – everything compiled perfectly into a nostalgic yet dance tune. Original Mix is an innovative and complete production that will probably have a similar group of followers as enemies.
Next we have the Urbantorque Mix that actually didn’t appeal to me. Nevertheless I think that the changed bassline and different synths will find their supporters.

The largest group of supporters among readers of Sound Revolt will probably be gathered by the Behrouz & Andy Caldwell Mix that we could already hear on the “GU #25 Toronto” CD. The vocals are abridged and we’re left only with “Feel so good” being sang in various ways. Let’s add a dull bass and hypnoticaly twanging synths and we get a gently rocking tune. On my November chart you’ll find the Toronto Mix, but now I would exchange it with the original that definitely stood the test of time.

Note: CD-R that we received from Shinichi didn’t include the Behrouz & Andy Caldwell Old Skool Mix. This double pack is available on www.yoshitoshi.com from November 8th.
