The third release from digital FeralCode label I was given with a promise of something harder, so immediately after that I started the listening.

“My Friend swn” is indeed quite hard and noisy track. Several overlapping layers in the culmination form a giant techno monster – fortunately powered by percussions at a moderate house tempo. Ondray has given up the most devastating part of the original to lead his remix step by step to the big final. The more conservative approach, I’m not sure if not better though.

“Glitch Disco” has to do more with trance than glitch, due to the characteristics paths of synths forming a successful marriage with yet contemporary massive percussions. But the hardest one is the FeralCode’s remix, which seems to be more and more aggressive with every passing phrase. The track is full of mysterious sounds driven by powerful, broken drums. The best piece of work on this EP.

Track List

  • My Friend Swn (Original)
  • My Friend Swn (Ondray'S Crash The System Mix)
  • Glitch Disco (Original Mix)
  • Glitch Disco (Feralcode Warmup Mix)
