There’s been a lot of new labels showing up lately and on the Valentine’s Day we’ve got another one coming up. This time it’s American with the first vinyl containing tracks by a duo which hasn’t done too much on the dance scene yet.
Frank Prosnik’s and Jason Tymothy’s original is a rather raw sounding progressive with a trancey edge. Raw, because it lacks deepness and the beat, drilling synths and spacey layers are not glued together too well.
You can hear no production defects in Hiratzka’s remix – probably the real reason for releasing this vinyl. The main drive of the track is a live bass together with live percussion, which show Mike’s rock band attitude. Adding a good construction, acid synths, distorted vocal, handful of samples and we have a very pleasant booty shaker.
Not without a reason Hernan Cattaneo choose the remix for his second installment of “Renaissance - The Masters Series”.
