 Shane Berry comes from Johannesburg, but since 2001 he’s been living in Tokyo. The “To There” EP is his second official release. The title track is an almost 14-minute long suite that rises from its beginning to its end with a variety of rotor engine sounds which later move on to the hissing of a circular saw. A typical techno theme grows and orbits around synthetic percussions on this background. This track will definitely devastate the club! ”For a Moment” and “Sigh” do not bear the same drama and definitely give way to “To There”. Nevertheless, both tracks are decent, preferably the second one.
