Anil Chawla and Dale Anderson are in the process of making their way into the limelight. The former, was named one of “Mixmag’s” Future Heros in 2005 while the latter, together with Stewart Keenan, produced “Drift Away”, which climbed to the top of the Balance Record Pool in January.
“Disco Stew” is an energetic deep house track with a classic piano and a balanced dose of female vocals. Simon Baker’s remix – half of The Liptrick – is a new electro tune which sounds a bit like James Zabiela’s “Robophobia”.
The worthy duo is complemented even more by the even worthier “Makes Me Feel (Deeper)” – deep house at its best and a track featured on Nic Fanciulli’s latest Renaissance compilation. Space, subtle vocals in a distance and overwhelming warmth – a very sexy track!
