 Sascha Funke’s set has been available in our download section for several months but this is the first time that we have the chance to review his production skills. The first minutes of “In Between Days” bring about associations with Alex Dolby’s well-known peak timer “Psiko Garden”. The similar synths and construction of suspense make this track sound like a bit of a rework made for today’s dancefloors. The hit title track is completed with two more underground tunes. The clicky “In Between Ways” and the more techy “In Between Gates” are solid productions that combine minimalism with a moderate dose of melodies. 5 for artistic impressions and a yellow card for that little plagiarism made up the final mark.
