The German label Traum Schallplatten has been frequently delivering high quality music from the borders of minimal and tech house. The fifth edition of the “Interkontinental” series, traditionally compiled by Riley Reinhold (Triple R), is the essence of what’s currently the best in this type of music. The record has not been mixed, but don’t worry, it is like a top quality artist album. Moreover, there’s a lot of highly energetic dance accents on this compilation such as ‘Stalker’ from Adam Kroll, ‘Farbegé’ from Somfay, ‘Wasabi’ from Leaven and the absolute number one – ‘New Found Glory’ from Ortin Cam, just to name a few. There are also some melancholic tracks, like ‘Numb Chance’ from Nathan Fake or ‘White Lines in the Blue Sky’ from Mashkraft, on the disc which makes it even more varied and interesting. To DJs I would recommend this release in a 3LP pack, which comes with a license to rock dancefloors. This is not the first release from Traum that I’m delighted with this year. It seems like Rheinhold’s decisions perfectly fit my musical taste, which I’m hoping to verify frequently. Comments[2]
