The Sideshow guise may not necessarily say anything to a wider audience but fans of Ninja Tune shouldn’t have bigger problems with the alias Fink. Behind both masks hides the same man, Fin Greenall, who after two releases on Simple Records was signed to its sister label, Aus Music, this time.

The title track is sublime, matt tech house with a taste of warm synths, delicate bongos and the atmosphere of a summer evening. Tejada’s remix is just as good but more minimal and with a Mathew Jonson style bassline.

The EP is completed with the pleasant dubby track “You’ve Changed” and a downtempo tune in the form of “Polar Bear”. Both of them confirm my belief that this package is definitely worth spending a few bucks on.

Track List

  • Polar Bear Dub
  • Scary Biscuits
  • You’Ve Changed Dub
  • Scary Biscuits (John Tejada Remix)
