 Fear is a series of Silver Planet’s compilations which showcases the label’s output. After a great number three, the fourth installment fell to Aidan Lavelle aka Ficta, Eli and Vector 13 (along with Alan Thomson). Unfortunately, he didn’t manage to equal Chris Salt effort and created an album that is nothing more than correct. Neat mixing and catchy tracks are not enough to give a compilation the ability to force listeners to play it more than once, and the effect is additionally spoiled by the overplayed Dzierzek and a few other hits. Aidan tries to save the day with his new productions, but the slightly cheesy “Hearus” and the pretty decent “Ferara” are simply not enough. The label known from a bunch o great releases has fallen into its own trap. Compiling so many popular tracks ends with a story which is tiring rather than entertaining.  Comments[0]
