 I won’t hide the fact that I stopped following Luke Chable’s career some time ago. There were too many tracks of his coming out with the frequency of machine gun fire , plus, my musical preferences have strongly changed. However, now I’m holding a compilation recorded by Luke with NuBreed member Danny Bonnici and all that’s left for me to do is take a bow. The name “Hiddenform 001” comes from the duo’s label. In the age of flawless compilations made on computers, it’s really hard to distinguish yourself with the way you glue tracks together, but surprisingly it’s the mixing that makes this album so special. Of course, it would do nothing if it wasn’t for the great selection of tunes. When the 57th minute approaches, you have the feeling that you have just finished listening to a very long track. After that moment, the CD slackens its grip and takes on a bit darker path to lead towards an inevitable finale. The music on “Hiddenform 001” is mainly dirty and electric house, progressive and breakbeat with outstanding tracks like “Broken Bitch”, “The Blast”, “Mister Head”, “Discopolis” and “Break Da House”.
