After less than two years of existence, one of the most interesting German labels decided to release its first album. The idea of “Back To Back” is to show the best tracks chosen from the 14 Mobilee singles and introduce new remixes made by the label’s in house artists. This compilation connects the past of the label with its future – all under the supervision and big participation of the imprint’s mother and chief Anja Schneider. The first CD is an unmixed choice of the tastiest bites from the Mobilee’s catalogue, which demonstrates the huge class of the label. CD2 is Anja’s set made of tunes commissioned especially for this release, most of which have become available on vinyls during the last two months. Again, most of the tracks are top quality but this time I’ll let myself put emphasis on two really mind blowing ones: “Horizons” and “The Bells”. As a result, it’s difficult to say which CD is the main course here… Comments[0]
