‘Selection’ is a series of label compilations recorded by the Traum Schallplatten co-owner, Riley Reinhold aka Triple R. These CDs are good reminders of how much dance music owes to the Trapez imprint. Owes and will owe, because ‘Selection 5’ gives us a glimpse at what is going to come out in the near future. The best unknown track is definitely the minimal genius called ‘Clear’. As for the released productions – the majority of the tracklisting is worth mentioning. These are the tunes which are still a staple in many minimal and tech house DJs’ cases. As a mixed CD, ‘Selection 5’ also meets the highest demands. Triple R once again has shown great skills in track selection and smart mixing. Comments[0]
