 ‘Camping Vol. 3’ differs both from its predecessors and the majority of label compilations. The third installment of Bpitch Control’s series does not live the past and gives listeners a set of old productions with a handful of yet unknown stuff. ‘Vol. 3’ is only about the tracks that were made exclusively for this release. Interesting and very diverse productions create a whole that is more a leisure soundtrack rather than a clubbers delight. Ellen Allien created an album where electro, techno and minimal mix perfectly with downtempo, hip hop and even dancehall. Your armchair should be mainly rocked by ‘Strahlen’, ‘Sexy Beast’, ‘Red Planet’ and ‘Pavilon’ but when ‘Der Senat’, ‘Weed Wid Da Macka’ and ‘Off Voices’ arrive you may feel the urge to stretch your legs a bit.
