 Berlin based Moodmusic Records has been frequently delivering club music for 10 years now. Not only on vinyl, as the world has also seen 4 CDs released under the label wings. The 5th one is intended to recap the first decade of being in business. Surprisingly, the first disc is made of not yet released tracks. The label's classics have found there place on the second one, so the album isn't a full fledged retrospective. The Finnish DJ and producer Sasse, who was already mentioned at the circumstance of his first artist album release, has risen to the occasion. Having circulated among the rhythms of tech and minimal house, he compiled 70+ minutes of music that not only gets into you, but will also leave you hypnotized. The witchy ‘Walk Music’ and originally built ‘Libre in the Garden’ turn out to be especially successful in this role. At the end, the record takes the soothing shades of deep house to culminate with the fantastically sensuous ‘Can’t Stay’ remix. The second disc is a true bomb. Just listen to ‘Sweet Things’, ‘Soul Sands’, ‘Loosing Touch’, or ‘808 Lazerbeam’ to recall not so long gone good times. A great compilation which will send a tingle down your spine.
