In March we informed you about the rise of Silver Planet’s sister label and HERE you can read more about this venture. Some time has passed and this mysterious and awaited compilation finally comes out. To be precise, this compilation is actually a key to revealing the mystery behind the unsigned Secret Planet vinyls.

I have spent last two months with this CD and listened to it almost 20 times, which in today’s musical flood is a truly good result. My first feelings? Incredible cohesion. Some of those tracks sound as they were made especially to fit with each other. Even though there is no long and sublime mixing on “The Secret Planet” this 72 minute journey goes really smoothly. The CD is full of melody and dreamy themes and yet not monotonous and sleepy at all. We’ve got some stunning productions here. Starting with a humming and surprising “Dark Storm” through Grayareish “Pluto” to a majestic “Digital Hymn”. This three together with my number one – touching “Decrescent” – are the pillars of this exceptional CD.

I usually listen to “The Secret Planet” at once and I’m always a bit amazed when I reach the end. “What? Already?”. Some of the tunes astound me with their fresh sound, whereas some remind me of older productions. Together they form a remarkable compilation and thank Silver Planet for giving new and promising talents a chance to come into being.

Nadger~Nadger (August 18th, 2004): Quality melodic progressive/breaks. Mixing is short but his does not ruin the flow of the CD. Look forward to the vinyl releases of these tracks
